(Clip) closures

How do you choose a closure that fits perfectly and matches your type of earlobe? We are here to help you!

With these handy tips, you will find the closure that best suits your type of earlobe and therefore feels the most comfortable! But what type of earlobe do you have? That depends on the following:

- The thickness
- The length
- Whether or not you already have piercings in your ear
- Other details such as torn or split earlobes

Read below everything about our 4 (Clip) closures and corresponding types of earlobes:

The slide closure

Perfect for type of earlobe
Thin-medium thickness & short-medium length earlobe

Instructions
The slide closure is easy to open and close by pulling the plate on the slide closure backward with your nail or finger, sliding your earlobe in between, and then releasing the plate.

Tip:
There is a bit of play in the slide closure, you can very carefully push the ring slightly apart to make more room for the earlobe. Note: this is obviously at your own risk, so do not push it too far.

The twist closure
Examples

Perfect for type of earlobe
All types

Instructions
The twist closure is perfect for all types of earlobes and therefore a perfect first Klipoorbel. Twist the hinge fully open so that the opening between the hinge and the Klipoorbel becomes as large as possible. Then open the Clip by pulling the hinge diagonally downward. Slide the closure around your earlobe, clip the closure shut around your earlobe, and twist the twist closure until the Klipoorbel sits firmly and comfortably.

Tip:
Shake your head a bit to check if you have tightened it enough. We recommend always tightening it just a bit more than just against the earlobe, so it stays in place well.

Perfect for type of earlobe
All types. These cannot be adjusted and you will probably feel them a bit more.

Instructions
The clip closure is easy to open and close by pushing the clip closure of the Klipoorbel open, sliding your earlobe in between, and pushing the clip closure shut against your earlobe.

Tip:
There is a bit of play in the clip closure, you can very gently push the Klipoorbel and the clip closure slightly apart to make more room for the earlobe. Note: this is obviously at your own risk, so do not push it too far.

The push closure
Examples

Perfect for type of earlobe
Thin-medium thickness & short-medium length earlobe

Instructions
The push closure is easiest to put on by:
either pulling the cushion backward so that the space between the cushion and the Klipoorbel becomes larger, sliding your earlobe in between, and then pushing the cushion against the back of your earlobe with your thumb,
or by pushing the cushion against the Klipoorbel and then sliding your earlobe in between from the thin part of your earlobe - halfway up your ear - to the thicker part - lower part of the earlobe -, and then pushing it extra tight with your thumb against the cushion.

Tip:
We recommend leaving the cushion on the closure, as the friction will make the Klipoorbel stay in place even better.
